VITAL2022 Vaccination Requirement
America’s Essential Hospitals is requiring all event attendees to be up-to-date on vaccines against COVID-19 before participating in any in-person association event.* We are working with CLEAR Healthpass to collect and process the vaccination documentation and more information will be made available closer to the event. Additionally, all event staff and attendees are required to wear masks. Masks will be available on-site if needed.
This requirement is consistent with the association’s policy for our staff and is becoming standard practice for in-person conferences and other events and activities.
*In accordance with America’s Essential Hospitals policy, up-to-date vaccination status is defined as having received the last required dose of a CDC- or WHO-recognized COVID-19 vaccine and a follow-up booster shot, if applicable, at least two weeks before the start date of the conference or event.

VITAL2022 Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Cancellations must be emailed to America’s Essential Hospitals by May 6 for a full refund. Cancellations made between May 6 and May 27 will be granted, less a $150 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 27.
Registrations are transferable among individuals from the same organization at no additional charge through May 27. A $150 processing fee will apply for any transfer requests received after May 27. Complimentary registrations are nontransferable.
All deadlines are through midnight Eastern Time of the specified date.
American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Credits
America’s Essential Hospitals is authorized to award preapproved ACHE Qualified Education credit (non-ACHE) for VITAL2022 toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. To apply continuing education hours toward ACHE Qualified Education credit, attendees should indicate their participation in VITAL2022 when applying to the American College of Healthcare Executives. A uniform certificate of attendance will be available onsite and also can be obtained by contacting events@essentialhospitals.org. We encourage you to use the uniform certificate of attendance to calculate your total number of earned continuing education units and submit to ACHE.
